Jacqueline Groag's Formica - Jane Foster's collection

My vintage patterned formica collection is on the increase - have recently bought this wonderful 50s formica piece by Jaqueline Groag, shortly to be framed *but not yet sure exactly how!
I love her designs and already have the black and white coffee table with her design on, along with some of her geometric fabrics.

Pinterest UK and the wonderful Donna Flower

I'm excited to talk about Pinterest as they've just launched in the UK! If you've not come across Pinterest before, it's a tool for collecting and organizing the things you love.
One of my favourite fellow fabric bloggers is the wonderful Donna Flower. I first met her a few years ago when she attended a vintage fair here in Totnes selling her super vintage fabrics. I've since bought lots of fabric from her and have enjoyed following her on Facebook and herblog. She has the most amazing Pinterest site with 112 boards and almost 8000 followers! I particularly love her board on style iconshere which includes the wonderful Mary Quant and Sophia Loren shown above. I also love her retro home board which features a very cool collection of photos including the one shown here below.

I use Pinterest to catalogue everything I make. You can view my various Pinterest boards here.  Many people "pin" things from around the web onto boards. Among my boards include my patchwork quilts, my handmade toys, my screen prints and my vintage formica collection.

If anyone reading this would like to join Pinterest and start creating boards of photos for others to enjoy, it's an easy process and can be done here.
